Meet Alejandra, a lovely 3 year old girl. Her mother, a single mom, has a disease that put Alejandra in danger and is not able to care for her young child.  Image the pain of being separated from your mother, Alejandra has be part of the loving family at the La Alborada Children’s Home and School in Honduras for over 1 year. After Mitch, the 2nd deadliest hurricane on record, caused over 11,000 fatalities in Central America, many children lost their families. A dedicated couple opened their home to a handful of these orphaned kids and continued to add as the need arose. Today, their home has grown to include a k-12 school.
