Meet Angela, a 12 year old girl, living at the Children’s Home & La Alborada School for over 2 years. When she first arrive, she was scared and a very serious and guarded young lady. Over time she has learned to trust and feel comfortable in her new home and school. We are so happy see that beautiful smile once again. After Mitch, the 2nd deadliest hurricane on record, caused over 11,000 fatalities in Central America, many children lost their families. A dedicated couple opened their home to a handful of these orphaned kids and continued to add as the need arose. Today, their home has grown to include a k-12 school.
