Meet Genesis, a 10 year old girl, living at the Children’s Home & La Alborada School for over 9 years. She loves to cook and wants to be a baker. After Mitch, the 2nd deadliest hurricane on record, caused over 11,000 fatalities in Central America, many children lost their families. A dedicated couple opened their home to a handful of these orphaned kids and continued to add as the need arose. Today, their home has grown to include a k-12 school.
